All outside food served on campus needs approval by Risk Management Food Safety prior to the event. "Outside food" is defined as any food prepared by a restaurant, vendor, or catering service that is not on the UNT campus.

Guidelines for Temporary Event Food Permits:

Approval is granted up to a maximum of 14 days.
Approval is valid at ONE location only.
A copy of the vendor’s current health permit for each food service provider listed must be attached to your request.
There is no need to complete this request if your event is serving only prepackaged food, or food from UNT Dining.
When your request is approved, you will received an official Temporary Event Food Permit.
