All outside food served on campus needs approval by Risk Management Food Safety prior to the event. "Outside food" is defined as any food prepared by a restaurant, vendor, or catering service that is not on the UNT campus.
Guidelines for Temporary Event Food Permits:
- Approval is granted up to a maximum of 14 days.
- Approval is valid at ONE location only.
- A copy of the vendor’s current health permit for each food service provider listed must be attached to your request.
- There is no need to complete this request if your event is serving only prepackaged food, or food from UNT Dining.
- When your request is approved, you will received an official Temporary Event Food Permit.
